2022 Reflections- the good, the bad, the to be improved

As 2022 draws to a close, we are eager to look toward what lies ahead in the coming year. The inspiration and energy we need to kick off 2023 can be drawn from what we’ve accomplished together over the past 12 months.

At Aristou, majority of our focus this year has been on empowering our customers to adapt and recover stronger from the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic through hybrid work, building solid and connected businesses, as well as reimagining innovation.

In this article, we sit down with some of our core team and draw up 2022 reflections to ponder on the role we’ve played in 2022 – the biggest lessons we’ve learnt and some of the highlights we’ve enjoyed this year.

2022 reflections from the Aristou Team

Here are a few reflections our core team (remain anonymous) have tested and learned along the way:

1. Truly listening

  • To me, one key lesson is to listen to our customers’ requirements carefully and help them by thinking of values and solutions that will contribute to their success.

2. Health is wealth

  • In my season in life, health is wealth. As we age, our bodies remain ever more crucial. Amidst the ongoing pandemic it is important to take care of your mental and physical well-being in order to be most effective at work.

3. Address workplace flexibility

  • I’m thankful that we still get to balance work and personal life with flexible work arrangement. Majority of the workforce that are now able to maintain impact in their own roles through more flexible work. 

4. Lifelong learning

  • In my role, I’ve learnt the importance of continuous learning and expanding one’s skill set horizontally to provide more value to our customers even when it is new to me.

Trends we noticed this year in 2022

  • A new world of hybrid work  

    • Co-vid continues to stay with us well into 2022, and hybrid working continues to remain a key part of our work structure in Aristou.

    • This year we’ve witnessed a series of significant changes in the way we work, recognizing that succeeding in this new season will require investment in a digital framework that binds together businesses across time and space, strengthening connections and empowering communication, collaboration, and creation.  

      • The move to the cloud has been a huge priority for many of our clients. We’ve helped customers realize this in their own organizations, where cloud strategy, data, automation, and AI are woven together to empower employees across departments and roles.

  • Reimagining innovation from multi-cloud to edge

    • Agility and security have become non-negotiables for businesses in the past few years. 

    • Co-vid has accelerated enterprise interest and adoption of cloud. Companies leveraging cloud environments are able to adapt better to the current crisis because they can easily scale or shift and continue to deliver services. 

    • Third party specialists like Aristou play a significant role in helping companies figure out the right mix of technology and applications to consumption-based IT service that helps you monitor, manage and optimize your on-premises and cloud deployments. 

    • We have assisted and consulted clients on how to balance their operations across on-premises and cloud systems, and what suits their needs best.

  • We’re building a stronger and connected communities

    • As the way we live and work shifted through the past year, we’ve continued to invest in ways to move our customers toward a new model of hyperconnected business to meet the rapidly changing demands of customers. 

    • Innovative solutions like the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI enable us to help organizations elevate their relationships with customers, driving greater personalization and overcoming challenges to deliver the experiences customers expect. 

    • Our team has enjoyed talking to our customers on their issues and challenging ourselves on how best to solve their issues with Aristou’s specializations and solutions.

What were each of us most grateful for in 2022 and how can we take that into 2023?

1) Good health

  • Never take good health for granted. When work and our personal lives get busy, our health may seem less important than many of the daily responsibilities we have to get done. 

      • When we master our health well, it enables us to master every other aspect of our lives even better.

2) Work life balance

  • Work Life balance has never been more important. For me, Aristou allows to have good control and freedom within our job, and I’m grateful that our boss trusts us to produce results and high-quality work.

3) Opportunities to work with wonderful clients and partners

  • I’ve enjoyed working with customers from various industries enable me to view issue and insights from different perspective 

  • In spite of the many challenges and setbacks, I feel that our team has achieved a great balance of agreements and win-win solutions for our clients and their problems which brings great satisfaction as a consultant.

What will we accomplish together in 2023? 

  • Launching more ISV solutions

    • In 2023, we are proud and excited to announce that we will be working on more ISV solutions to be published in the Microsoft Appsource, following the successful launch of our first ISV solution- Active Budget Check.

    • At the moment, we’re unable to share more yet, but we will definitely keep you updated, so stay tuned to our website and blog!

  • Getting ABC out into the market internationally

    • Since the recent official launch of ABC in the Microsoft Appsource, we have been receiving traction and positive feedback. We will continue to work on improving and optimizing this solution to make it the best and most efficient budget tracker for companies across the world.

  • Power BI Social media data analytics solution

    • As they say, data is king. Our team has been working hard to launch an all in 1 new and improved social media analytics tool with on the best data analytics tool in the market- Power BI. Coupled with the best adaptor, Windsor AI lets you connect multiple sources of social media platforms at once, making your reporting internally and externally seamless, easy and stress free! 

    • It is an integrated marketing analytics platform for marketers to measure and optimize the impact of their campaigns

The calendar year 2023 is just around the corner. Our 2022 reflections have reminded us how incredibly blessed and grateful we have been for our opportunities.

We’ve gotten to work with some of the most exciting projects and inspiring clients. Aristou will strive to continue building upon our accomplishments and seek to unlock potential at every turn.
